I'm Julie Merrill
I'm an entrepreneur, mom, military spouse and Certified Public Accountant. I started out in audit as a CPA and was quickly drawn to and transitioned to new business. After years of helping others start business in the venture capital space, I moved on to starting and growing my own businesses. Being a military spouse, my career has continued to adapt, ebb and flow... and after many years in business, I made the transition to tax.
I have started and grown businesses and have been in your shoes. Profit Above Board is my passion project where tax professionals like myself can share lessons learned, business best practices and tax-saving strategies with business owners like you.
